Updated October 16th, 2023 Supreme has set the release date for their Nike Courtposite collaboration on October 19th (10/21 in Asia), along with the unveiling of official lookbook images. In the tennis world’s unexpected twist, Supreme is resurrecting the infamous Nike Courtposite, originally introduced in 2002 with the innovative Foamposite material. Despite a lukewarm reception back then, the notorious shoe is making a comeback in 2023, blending its original design with Supreme’s signature touch.
Foamposite Resurgence

Pro tennis player Carlos Alcaraz unveiled the revival on Instagram, showcasing an olive/black pair with the iconic two toned colorblocking. The Foamposite’s unique charm, notorious for its extended break in period, now carries the Supreme branding on the molded upper. While the olive/black colorway is confirmed, Supreme’s tradition suggests more exciting color options in the pipeline.
Supreme and Nike’s Unconventional Choices

The question lingers Is it Supreme’s choice to revive these obscure models, or does Nike strategically leverage Supreme’s name? The Supreme x Nike Courtposite follows the trend of unexpected collaborations and re issues from this partnership, promising to turn heads once again. As the U.S. Open unfolds in Flushing, Queens, stay tuned for more surprises from Nike Sportswear’s tennis activities during the major tournament.
