Cyclon A Step Towards Sustainability

CEOs Embrace Sustainability and Launch Sneaker Subscription

On Holding is taking bold steps toward sustainability with the introduction of Cyclon, a groundbreaking sneaker subscription service. Under this program, customers pay a monthly fee to exchange their old sneakers for brand new ones every six months.

Maurer explained, We launched Cyclon because we have a very simple mission: We want to make all our products ready for circularity. It’s made out of one material, it comes in a subscription model, and once you’ve used it, we can basically take it back and recycle it.

A Sneaker from Carbon Emissions

The company is also making strides in reducing its carbon footprint. They recently showcased a revolutionary shoe made from carbon emissions, demonstrating their commitment to eco friendliness. Although not yet available for purchase, Maurer anticipates this environmentally friendly sneaker will hit the market by 2025.

Post Pandemic Inventory Management

Hoffmann addressed the company’s increased inventory, attributing it to disruptions caused by the Covid 19 pandemic. He assured, But it is all fresh and good inventory, which we expect to sell at full price. So we feel we have work to do in getting that down, but we don’t have risk to our profitability.

In summary, On Holding is embracing sustainability through Cyclon and innovative eco friendly products while efficiently managing inventory challenges. Their commitment to a greener future is at the forefront of their business strategy.
